Grizzly Salmon Necklace

This necklace features a grizzly bear with a sockeye salmon in its belly. On the salmon there is a detailed stamped tree design. This represents the cycle of salmon coming back to spawn - bears eating and carrying the nutrient rich fish into the forest ecosystem - and the trees growing strong and healthy because of this influx of nutrients... which all comes back around to help benefit the salmon: healthy forests help create healthy stream ecosystems for salmon to rear and spawn.

The necklace is handmade from layers of sterling silver with copper detail on the salmon, with added engraving, stamping and patina to bring it to life.
