Salmon Queen - Fish Ladder Necklace — Made to Order!

The ultimate Alaskan Salmon necklace fit for a queennnnnn! This handcrafted beauty has one of each species of Pacific Salmon, each one with unique characteristics similar to their real-life scaley friends. From top to bottom you have a King, Sockeye, Pink, Chum and Coho... and if you didn't pick up on that little detail - they're in the same order as they would return to their natal streams in the summer! Like a little fish calendar on your neck. All secured on a sturdy 30" rolo chain, complete with hand stamped tassels at the bottom (32" with the tassels). All sterling silver, except some copper accents on the sockeye and chum salmon.

Each salmon starts out as simple sterling silver/copper sheet and wire. I saw out and assemble multiple layers, adding little details through stamping, engraving, sawing and drilling to bring each salmon to life and add characteristics unique to each of the five species. Then I solder them all together, secure it to the necklace chain and polish them up.
