Named after the glacial blue waters of the mighty Taiya River, these lightweight danglers are the first style of earrings I made when I was getting started back in 2016. Birch bark my favorite material to work with. Every piece is so unique from its colors and patterns to the mosses and lichens growing on it. All birch bark is gathered from pieces on the ground or downed and dead trees then hand cut and sanded to shape. It is then sealed with an epoxy and hand wrapped with South Hill Turquoise beads. Earwires are sterling silver.
